Aaron graduated with First Class Honors in Chemistry from Queen's University Belfast in 2016, and completed his PhD thesis under Prof. Andrew Mills on the development and testing of ultrathin flexible photocatalytic films. His current research focuses on advanced techniques for the prediction of kinetics in homogeneous catalysis.
Gavin Lennon (2019 - Current)
Gavin graduated with First Class Honors in Chemistry with One Year in Industry from Queen’s University Belfast in 2019. During his undergraduate studies he completed a 12 month internship at Seagate Technology and a short placement in the Knipe Lab at QUB. His current research focuses on elucidating the reaction mechanisms of homogenously catalyzed organic reactions and developing new ways to monitor reaction kinetics.
Fáinché Murphy (2020 - Current)
Fáinché is a final year Masters student undertaking a project to investigate the mechanism of Cu(l)-Catalysed Couplings of Diazo Compounds With Terminal Alkynes. She recently completed a 12 month placement with Almac Sciences. If you can’t find her in the lab she’s most likely pulling pints in her family’s public bar.
